Classmates to reunite
The graduating Rappahannock High School class of 1958 is holding a 40th year reunion on Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Child Care and Learning Center Picnic Shelter on U.S. 211 near Washington. A spokesperson said, “bring your family, a picnic lunch, and a lawn chair, 40 years is a long time and we are curious about what classmates are doing.”
Also invited are alumni from 1953-1963 classes, as well as current and former teachers and principals. For additional information call 636-6003 or 937-4470.
Reception planned for Brooks
A reception and fund raiser will be held for Cornell Brooks, Democratic candidate for Congress from the 10th District on Monday, Aug. 24 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Linden Vineyards. Services Board to meet
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will have its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Bradford Road Office in Culpeper.
Health programs planned
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening Programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center:
Aug. 24 at 11:30 a.m. Blood pressure check by Melinda Beach.
Aug. 26 at 1 p.m., Karen Smith, TaiChi (non-impact moves) will involve participation.

Epiphany School orientation
Epiphany Catholic School, an interparish school serving the counties of Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and Culpeper located at Precious Blood Church announces its orientation days for the 1998-99 school year. Preschool, kindergarten and first through fourth grade programs are offered at Epiphany. Dates scheduled include: Orientation Day for grades K-4, Friday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon; First day of school for grades K-4, Monday, Aug. 31; Preschool Orientation days, Sept. 2 and 3; No school Monday, Sept. 7; First Day for preschool Tuesday, Sept. 8.
