A Woodbridge woman was arrested last week in a case involving a string of larcenies in four counties, including Rappahannock.
Xiomara Ortiz, 19, alias “Mimi,” was arrested in Prince William County on four felony counts — two counts of grand larceny and two counts of forcible entry and burglary. The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office has been working on the case since March of this year. Prince William, Culpeper and Fauquier counties have also been investigating the crimes.
Arquimides Cintron, 23, of Dale City was arrested by Prince William County authorities in May in connection with the crimes. He has since been served warrants by Rappahannock County authorities and is also charged with four felony counts — two counts of grand larceny and two counts of forcible entry and burglary. He has a long history of such crimes and is waiting trial now in Prince William County.
Cintron cooperated with' authorities in identifying and implicating the others involved in the series of crimes. On March 20 two larcenies occurred in this county on the same day — one on Route 647 in Flint Hill and one on Route 637 in Amissville. The larcenies were similar in nature to those which occurred in neighboring jurisdictions.
Over $100,000, possibly as much as $150,000, of stolen property was recovered. Sheriff Gary Settle of Rappahannock said his office
