Anniversary wishes go out to Richie and Linda Baldwin who will celebrate five years on Aug. 28. They reside in Sperryville with their daughter, Katie. We extend to them best wishes for the coming year and many more.
Special services are underway at Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church just beyond Country Manor Aug. 26-29 at seven o’clock each evening. A special all-day service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30 beginning at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m. and an evening service will be held at 2:30 p.m. ' Dr. Wayne Thompson from Rochelle will be preaching. Dr. Thompson is well known throughout this area and has preached at many revival services and special services in the county.
The Sperryville Gateway Committee will meet Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall. Interested persons are encouraged to attend.
Tiffany Wayland spent last Saturday afternoon with Elizabeth Welch of Flint Hill. The girls enjoyed an afternoon of swimming at South Wales.
