Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby and family entertained with a cookout Sunday afternoon having as guests Ray Wharton, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Roberson and son, Timothy Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer, all local and Mrs. Alvin Atkins ofSperryvile. Mrs. .Atkins had visited her niece Miss Brenda Frazier and mother in Culpeper on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin, Michael, Krystal and Jacob spent last weekend with relatives in North Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and Christopher accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were in Winchester last Tuesday to visit their aunt Mrs. Nettie Corbin, a resident at Welcome Haven Adult Home and later they attended the Clarke County Fair in Berryville.
We’re sure that kleenex are a really important item in the Cannon household, Jimmie and Marty’s, these days as their daughter, Ashleigh has entered college at Radford for her freshman year and her classes began on Monday. We understand she is very excited, so hang in Mom and Dad. Soil, Michael will be making some adjustments also as he enters the eighth grade at Rappahannock High on Monday.
