ing players returning, Amanda Weakley, Amy Clinedinst, Kelly Atkins, Betsy ,Welk, Lori Schwertfeger and Amber Welch were members of last year’s team and have that experience to drawn on. New team members are: eighth graders, Robin Pivarnik, Jessica Ashby and April Parker; ninth graders Jessica Nawrocki and Jessica Newkirk; and sophomore Esther Koorn, an exchange student.

“I expect them to win and tell them they can win but we also have fun,” Jenkins said. “If they work hard they should do well and we have a height advantage.” Six of the girls are five foot, eight inches or more.! “We’re going to work on using our height and we have several smaller girls who are quick.”

Jenkins said she is relying on returning team members Welch and Weakley as scorers and for rebounds and Clinedinst as floor leader due to their experience. “This group has a great attitude and is really fun to Work with.
