Amissville Ruritan Club met Aug. 8 in the social hall of the Amissville Methodist Church with the ladies of the church providing and serving a delightful meal. The Rev. Joseph S. Stirman, pastor of Amissville Baptist Church, reported on his attendance at the Rural Church Conference held at Ferrum Junior College. The club sponsors a minister at the conference.
