graduates
John Robbins “Robb” DeBergh, son of Mr. and Mrs. James DeBergh Jr. of Washington graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal on May 31.
While at Randolph-Macon Academy, Robb was named to the President’s List for academic excellence and earned 26 college credits from Shenandoah University in Winchester. He was a member of the National flonor Society and Honor Council, and captain of the 1997-98 state winning rifle team. Rifle awards included the Most Valuable Team Member and the Lewis Nalls Award for Marksmanship.
Robb was selected to represent Randolph-Macon Academy at the Winchester-Frederick County Chamber of Commerce Student Leadership Recognition Luncheon in April. He also received the Spanish Medal for the 1997-98 academic year.
Robb will attend the University of the South in Sealock, Tenn. in August.
