Mr. and Mrs. James Jenkins accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Kelchner of Winchester spent a recent weekend with Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Mason in Sumter, S.C.
It’s time once again for the Singing and Pickin party which will take place Friday, Nov. 13 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Salem Fire Hall on Route 522. Food, coffee and soft drinks are always available.
Several more young people form our area, all students at Rappahannock Elementary School made the honor roll for the first advisory grading, namely Jessica and Chris Erhart, John Letsen and Kendra Hitt.
F.T. Baptist Church invites the community to attend their revival services beginning Sunday, Nov. 15 and continuing through Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 each evening. The church is located on Route 707 and Rev. Bob Barnett of Bradford, R.I. is guest speaker.
A reminder that calendar sales by the students of Rappahannock Elementary School is in full swing and will continue through Nov. 25. The Old Sperryville Bookshop, Faith Mountain and Mountainside Market in Sperryville as well as Hackley’s Store in Amissville will take care of your orders. They are also available at the schools.
