The community Thanksgiving service will be held at Amissville Baptist Church on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. There will be choirs and preachers from area churches participating. Everyone is welcome.
The holiday season is an exciting time for many of us. We’re visiting and dining with family and friends. Shopping for Christmas. Decorating our homes. For others, it is an uphill battle waged against depression and loneliness. Let’s try to reach out to the needy in our community. I should have information soon about the food basket collections by our area businesses within the next few weeks.
