Hubert Edwin Woodward Sr., 82, of Culpeper died Tuesday, Nov. 3 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
He was born in Holston, Va. on June 26, 1916 to the late William E. Woodard and Lula Woodard Woodward.
Mr. Woodward is survived by his wife of 48 years Mrs. Maxine Merele Stahl Woodward of Culpeper; two sons Hubert Edwin Woodward Jr. of Frederick, Md. and Roger Neil Woodward of Richardsville; one daughter Lois Woodward Clark of Amissville and two step daughters Sharon L. Ripple of Sharpsburg, Md. ancj Donna Stadtmueller-of Germany.

Mr. and Mrs. John Moser of Jackson, Mich, and Debbie Suche of Culpeper were visitors during the week of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Die Burke.
Edward and Ruth Clark, Sarah Brown and daughter Bobbie Jo and Richard and Ann Simmons, all of Washington, Bonnie Cave and Daniel of Amissville, Richard Eastham Sr. of Front Royal, Misty Hitt and Henry B. Wood were visitors during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls, Samantha and Robert.
The W.M.U. of Woodville Baptist Church will meet at the home of Theresa Light at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
