Harriette Rosenblatt, who teaches K through 7th Art, will be able to purchase enough clay for all her students to complete a project in clay. She will also link the clay project with another literary program already in progress at the school.
At Rappahannock County High School, five teachers received grants. Special Education teacher Andra Logan will use her grant to purchase a cash register that will be used by her students for the small business they run at the school. Learning hands-on business skills will increase their future employment opportunities.
