Mr. and Mrs. Earl Payne
Vows exchanged Adlin “Cookie” Wildman of Fredericksburg and Earl Payne of Mine Run were united in marriage on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the First Christian Church in Louisa. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Elwood Campbell. The bride wore a white lace gown covered with small pearls and rhinestones. A flowing three foot train accented the open back bodice. The gown also featured Victorian sleeves. Michell Henry of Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of the bride was matron of honor. She wore a red dress accented with black ribbon on the bodice. Flower girl was Shelly Grohs of Fredericksburg, granddaughter of the bride. Thomas Grohs of Fredericksburg, son of the bride served as best man. Ushers were Carl Grohs of Waynesboro and John Grohs of Front Royal, both sons of the bride. The wedding reception was held at the home of Rannie and Barbara Seay, brother-inlaw and sister of groom. The couple is planning a honeymoon at a later date. Mr. and Mrs. Payne are currently residing in Culpeper.
