He was born Feb. 2, 1922 in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Dewey D. and Madie Corder Hudson.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Eubank Hudson and a brother Edward Hudson.
Mr. Hudson was retired after many years with the Arlington County School Board.
Survivors include two daughters Mary H. Smoot of Winchester and Mrs. Sandra H. Hitt of Boston and a son Milton C. Hudson of Washington and three grandchildren Crystal Dawn Smoot, Megan Lynn Smoot and Victoria Nicole Hudson.
Additional survivors include three brothers Granville Hudson of Flint Hill, Henry Hudson of Washington and Whitfield Hudson of Warrenton and four sisters Doris Coughlin of Castleton, Mary Williams of Flint Hill, Frances Payne of Culpeper, and Phyllis . Yancey of Viewtown.
Graveside services were held at Washington Masonic Cemetery on Dec. 15 with Rev. Alpheus Atkins Jr. and Rev. John Burke officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Clore-Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
