Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers for comfort go out to the Corbin family upon the tragic accident Tuesday morning that claimed the life of one son. Another son is in the hospital recuperating.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Roberta Glasker Carpenter who passed away Dec. 19 and was laid to rest in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery on Sunday. She was the widow of Theodore “Teddy” Carpenter. They were former residents of Boston.
The Bethel Baptist church of Reva Way will have a steak-oyster dinner on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Reva Fire Hall on Birmingham Road.
