“Breakfast with Santa” to benefit our company. All proceeds came our way, with a huge breakfast provided free of charge to those who attended. Hundreds of dollars were raised by generous patrons.
Several of our members work at the restaurant and we flinch to think of management’s sacrifices when employee firefighters and EMTs have been allowed to leave their posts to rush to a neighbor’s aide. We’ve even received volunteer help from patrons like Brian Reardon, who provides tech support to the department, on the strength of his relationship with members who are tavern employees or regulars.
