After a supportive July 4th turnout, a Flint Hill parade and convention parties, the Democrats are getting a feeling that they may be able to reverse four decades of presidential defeats in Rappahannock County.
Linda Dietel, vice chairwoman of the Democratic Party here said in an interview this week that after years of posing as “independents,” because of dismay with the national party ticket, Democrats are coming back to the party to follow Senators John Kerry and John Edwards in 2004.
