The Washington Tbwn Council is researching options for a wastewater treatment facility for the town. Council members have visited many facilities, even ventured to other states to educate themselves on the subject, but have yet to see the Sperryville water treatment site.
The Tbwn Council was set to take the tour this week from Troy Jenkins, and will hopefully have a better understanding of alternative treatment solutions.

The Rev. Phil Bailey has just returned from Eagle Bute, S. D. where he spent a week working with the Lakota tribe. Rev. Bailey, Frieda Herman, a teacher' at Rappahannock High School, and Ellen Mustoe, a retired probation officer, joined 12 members of the North Star Baptist Church to send their message of hope to a poor society where alcohol consumption is excessive. With morning bible school and afternoon music and fun, the team offered a path that steered away from intoxication.
