The Fauquier County Public School Division is recruiting for the full time position of Attendance Case Manager. This position will be responsible for investigating attendance problems; providing case management to those cases of chronic absenteeism, tardiness, and truancy; working closely with school employees regarding students who have excessive absents or tardies; and other administrative duties such as attending conference and filing reports.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree supplemented by experience as a Visiting Teacher, licensed Social Worker, or counseling experience. Preferred applicant must be able to maintain a professional awareness of regulations regarding child welfare and attendance by having a working knowledge of state law, School Board policy and admirxstrative regulations. Strengths in oral and written communication are required as well as the abiity to work independently. Starting salary is $30,731.40.
