The County is seeking a strong team member with primary responsibilities as part of the Assessor’s Office commercial/industrial team. Must have thorough knowledge of appraising real property with emphasis on commercial/industrial property; thorough knowledge of building construction practices; general knowledge of state laws and local ordinances relating to real property assessments. Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, business administration or a related field with major course work in real estate, economics or business. Two years professional experience in real property appraisals or real property assessments. Prefer a Virginia Licensed (Certified) Residential Appraiser or a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
