“I’m a little particular about who goes into the front space,” Timberlake said. “We need an anchor right there to help the other businesses in the building.”
Some of the other businesses in that building are laboring under the rumors that others are leaving as well.
“I was in Molly’s [Irish Pub, across Main Street], and there were three or four people that came up to me and asked me when I’m closing,” said Dave McCrabb, owner of The Scoti, located right above Emma’s. “I’m not closing. I’m staying right here.”
