remembered how to read and stumbled across an ad in -the still-functioning Culpeper Times for a full-time reporter in Rappahannock. I could finally escape!
I made my way back in June with the good graces of Rappahannock News editor Mary Ann Kuhn and started tackling a daily trip from Fredericksburg. Since then I have been burning rubber up and down Route 211 and typing away, more about animals than people strangely.
Some highlights of my experience were, of course, the beautiful Castleton Festival, meeting Lorin and Dietlinde Maazel, and touring the world- renowned Inn at Little Washington.
Now, sadly, I must say goodbye for the time-being, as I am going to attend grad school next month. My hopes are to become a teacher, take my summers off at tfie beach and continue to write. I’ll always remember the days I spent in Rappahannock
