Boguslaw, in addition to being a pianist with the “President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band since 1991, has performed with Louie Bellson, Vinnie Colaiuta, Manhattan Transfer, Marc Egan and Ira Sullivan. He also is a member of the John Blount, Dave Tucker Big Band, a Grammy nominated group out of Baltimore. Boguslaw has appeared at numerous jazz festivals and has two CDs on Summit Records which have received critical acclaim from both Jazz Times and Cadence Magazines.
The jazz evening, billed as Cool Jazz for Cool Cats, also will feature popular raffle items. These include dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington, brunch/lunch at Thornton River Grill, massage by Cara Martin, massage therapist, and works by potter, Jeannie Drevas. It will also provide the wanner in the county’s first Rappnet auction of a painting specially created for RappCats by Steven Kenny.
