“Culpeper is a rapidly growing area and we feel Culpeper is ready for a store like this,” he said. “We have high quality standards and a large selection of products with savings that are unmatched. We’ll be working diligently over the next month or so to get the store ready. The community should see lots of activity as we get closer to the opening date, which we will announce as it gets closer.”
Store manager Aaron Henderson recently moved from Carlisle, where he was a Martin’s store manager, to direct the Culpeper Martin’s operations.
“I’ve been with Martin’s for 20 years and held just about every managerial position at Martin’s,” Henderson said in a Monday phone interview. “I’ve had experience doing just about everything in the store.
“I lived in the Carlisle area my whole life. It’s a big change coming here, but I was looking for something new and this is a very nice area.”
Henderson said he has been busy lately interviewing potential store associates and is eager for the grand opening of Martin’s.
“I’m pretty excited,” he said. “We are going to have some nice offerings - especially in the naturals and organic foods - that people around here should really like. This is going to be a nice store.”
