Life Lesson
While eating my lunch at the Rappahannock News’ office on Monday a' piece of chicken got caught in my throat and I started choking and Mary Ann Kuhn, the editor, saved my life!
She heard me choking and saw that I was blue in the face and came to my rescue with the Heimlich maneuver.
Meanwhile, Hilary, the reporter, was saying a prayer for me.
This is my second experience and hopefully my last. It was a horrible experience, but I’m glad Mary Ann was nearby.
