My name is Khalil Davis AbuRoman.
My mom is Marie Davis-Roman and I am a junior at Rappahannock County High School this year.
I have been nominated to represent my school and the Rappahannock County community as a member of the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D C. this year.
The Congressional Youth Leadership Council nominates exceptional students from around the country to attend an experiential educational program. This will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with many prominent men and women whom most of us only read about in the news.
Attending this program will enable me to further my interest in the field of government and reach my career goals of becoming a Policy Changer. I maintain a 3.25 GPA, am involved in football, baseball and basketball and will be taking Accelerated Placement <AP) courses this coming year.
