Annual carnival of the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department -lots of good food, hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, cookies, cakes, brownies. Grand Parade is Friday, 6:45 p.m. On Saturday, the queen will be crowned at 10 p.m. The winning raffle ticket for the heifer will be drawn at-11 p.m., and at midnight a new pickup truck will be given away,. Baseball registration, 10 a.m. - 12 noon, Stuart Field, Ruritan Building. If you have never played for Rappahannock Athletic Association, you must bnng your birth certificate or other official document for age verification. Online registration is available until Aug. 15, at www.rappculpbaseball.com or call 540-937-7900. Children ages 4-15 are eligible to play. We will have T-ball, Rookies 78, Minors 9-10, Majors 11-12 on a 50/70 field and 13-15 Combined. Children who will be four years old by May 1, 2010 are eligible to play Fall Baseball in T-ball.
