Have you noticed the plants in the boxes in front of the Rappahannock County courthouse?The Rappahannock County Garden Club plants and maintains the planter boxes at the courthouse and Clerk's Office every summer throughout the growing season as a community service project. A watering brigade is recruited from its active members who each volunteer to care for the plants for a week, completing tasks such as watering, deadheading and weeding. So if you've seen various people there with a watering can, now you know who they are!
