On Tuesday, Rapp met the fifth seeded George Mason in the first, quarter-final Bull Run District championship game. On the Panther home court, the Ladies robbed the Mustangs of victory in a heated 3-1 match. Several players made the standout list for the night. Hitting was the highlight of the contest: Hanna Kopjanski, 13 kills; Natalie Tupper, 9 kills; Addie Swindler 6 kills. Danika Rritter also aided her team by serving 10 aces.
The Lady Panthers face their top rival, Strasburg, in Ram territory for the second game of the Bull Run District semifinals tonight at 7:30.
Junior Varsity
Although the Panther Junior Varsity team saw another split week in its final week of Bull Run District play, it reported a thoroughly triumphant season by meeting its overall goal of finishing .500 or better.
