RCAA gets $2,000
The board also approved $2,000 in general fund support to the Rappahannock County Athletic Association to allow the RCAA to complete renovations to the old Ruritan Building at its Amissville athletic field that are needed for an occupancy permit. RCAA representative Amy Hitt told the board the organization has already spent $10,000 on renovations to the building, which needs final insulation in the . walls and roof.
