Miss Lily Strange of Viewtown has been selected to attend The National Young Leaders Conference Oct. 26-31 in Washington, D.C. The National Young Leaders Conference is a unique leadership development program for high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and scholastic merit.
The fall season is a great time for hiking. And Rappahannock County provides an ideal location to do just that, whether you’re a casual or serious hiker. According to Hunt Harris of the Ragged Mountain Resource Center, there are over a dozen “easily accessible” trail heads in the county. That does not include many more trail heads that are accessible from Skyline Drive, which forms the west and northwest borders of the county. Harris says that we are blessed with access to the trails and network that exists in the area.
