In fact, as he and his wife, Caroline, shook hands and passed out coffee and cake in the morning Tuesday at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church parking lot, where the Stonewall-Hawthome District votes, a voter approached and asked, “Can you tell me, is Chris Parrish a Republican?”
Parrish answered, “Yes,” and introduced himself.
“Great,” the voter said as she headed for the polls. “That's what I needed to know.”
The woman, Debbie Osborne of Castleton, said when she came out that she was “voting all Republican. I had a say in the last election, but apparently it didn’t make any difference. I hope this time it will.”
