‘Dangerous Comer’ at

Washington High School

The Barter Theatre has secured the co-operation of the MetroGold wyn-Mayer Studios in yetting William Adler for a role in J. B. Priestley’s play, "Dangerous Cornel ”, which comes to Washington on January 14 at the Washington High School fjuditit'A ,:ni, sponsored by the A m e r i c a r. Ley ion.

Mr. Adler’s appearaitce with the Barter Players is made possible due to the slow season in Hollywood, and also due to the fact that this Barter Theatre production of “Dangerous Corner” is for a limited engagement.

On a recent trip to Hollywood, Robert Porterfield, director of the Barter Theatre, and of the play, “Dangerous Corner”, wbs able, to make arrangements for Adleir and other players to come East for this tour which- brings this famous treatre to Rappahannock.

Porterfield expects to continue his close liaison with the cinema world, so as to continue to bring other personalities to the East to appear with the Barter. Theatre. _

Kelly has her degree from the University of California in economics, but she states, “I would rather count a good “house” than count figures,” (and she has one). Her charming winsome smile and dramatic eyes win many friends over the footlights, and she is known as one of the best dressed actresses on the American Stage.
