A comparison of condition for the last ten years showed that —4m4ng- this tmu1, total resources had mole than dor bled. It was aho noted that the book Value of the hank building and ■ fixtures had been charged off, leaving only $2 invested in fixed assets.
The following were elected as directors for the year 1950: John S. Browning Frank H. Cary, R. H. Dulaney, Herbert Foster, William W. Miller, John Rr,Moore. Jr., and R. B. Rust.
After the stockholders meeting. the directors met and organized for the coming year, electing the following officers: Frank H. Cary, presdent; William W. Miller, vice-president; John S. Browning, cashier; and Mrs. Gaynell P. Russell, assistant cashier.
The directors complimented the cashier, John S. Browning, on his report for the year.

With the opening Monday, Jenuary 16, of the new Arrington Laundry and Cleaners in Culpeper, Russell Arrington is extending a cordial invitation to all to visit the new plant.
Located on Culpeper -street, behind 'Leggett's store, this new hi ilding is the latest in equipment and fire-proofing. The building L concrete and cinderblock with steel windows and is as fire-proof as modern construction provides. The equipment i.i the new steam Laundry is up-to. the-minute, foi every piece is not more than 1 1 months out of a factory, states Mr. Arrington.
Mr. Arrington has been in the laundiy and cleaning business for 25 year-. He came to Culpepe 20 yeai - ago and since that tinv has made a name for himself m ins business as well as in civ, service.
