‘Your Government*
Did you realize that you work .for, government the first ten hours out of every forty hour work week? Did you realize that your paycheck is in danger? Well those are just some of the problems that will be discussed by William J. Bird, national affairs advisor of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, in his weekly broadcast Tuesday, sponsored by the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce over station WCVA.
This will be the third in a series of eight broadcasts on “You and Your Government,” designed and presented to stimulate thinking and interest on the part of the individual citizen in his government.
The series is sponsored by the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce in co-operation with the national chamber in an effort to encourage better government through 'better citizenship.
Subject of Tuesday’s broadcast will be “Stretching The Paycheck.”
