Along with a complete list of their “whereas” and “therefore” writings of our Board of Supervisors, the folks in the county give them thorough agreement. ], for one, would like to here and how make the motion, second it, and record the unanimous vote of Rappahannock in its entirety to give a vote of thanks to the Board of Supervisors for their stand in requesting that the telephone companies remove the toll charges on calls to our neighbors.
Of course, the rest of us, just plain citizens, , could talk our „'ieads off—and a few of i.s do— and we wouldn’t be heard, but our Board rocpribers are going into action for us, anti the future .looks brighter.
We’ll do anything we can to r.elp to get this telephone toll charge removed. One suggestion has been made that it might be a good idea to ge„t a petition signed -of all residents of the ounty who wish the county-wide telephone so; vice. We’ll start or. t if the need i- expressed " .
