Conference Planned

Needs of the* program will he discussed by F. B. (’ale, Richmond, State supervisor of agricultural education, at the-opening sessions Thursday morning, January 12. Other morning speakers will lie \V. R. Ciabill, Richmond, assistant supervisor in charge of veterans' training, who will discuss a proposed farm survey, and .Julian Campbell, also of Richmond and assistant to Crabill, who will discuss forms to be used in long-time planning.
The afternoon session will feature discussions on the morning addresses. Presiding will Ire T. J. HoCne, profeissor of vocational education at VPI.
Possible changes in the teacher training program will be discussed on the Friday program. Reports from area supervisors also will be featured. Sanders will preside.
On Saturday, discussions will center on the 1950 summer school program, summer conferences, and FFA activities. Speakers will include R. E. Bass, Richmond, assistant State supervisor and executive secretary of the Virginia FFA chapter. Miss Olive Salem, research assistant in vocational education at VPI, Horne and Sanders. C. E. Rivards, of the VPI ^taff, will preside.
About 40 teacher trainers, area supervisors, and itinerant taechers, including those from the Virginia State College staff, are expected to attend.
