Baptist Parsonage
Begins Construction
On an acre donated l>y Mrs. Lily Barber between her home and that of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, ground will he 'broken for the New Baptist parsonage :>eing built by Wqouville anil, Mt. Lebanon churches.
The new home for the new minister will hare full basement, living room, dining room, kitchen, hath, and two bedrooms on the first floor, and two bedrooms on the second floor to he completed later. There is still a decision to be made as to whether the horse will be brick veneer, or not.
The parsonage can he called “The house that gifts built."
Maurice O’Bannon gave use of the bulldozer to dig the basement, several carpenters in the neighborhood have given a week’s labor, and C. W. Hawkins is giving his services in the construction.
The new parsonage will be ready when the 1 ew minister arrives in May.
W.H.S. Accredited
According to a statement issued from the office of D. C. Link, Principal of Washington High School, word has been received from Thomas T. Hamilton? director of Secondary Education, State Department of Education, Richmond, to the effect that this high school has been placed on the accredited list for 1949-51.

Rev. Carter Accepts Call
To Woodville-Lebanon /
Rev. S. Felton Carter of North Carolina and Louisville, Ky., has accepted the call extended him by the Woodville and Mt. Lebanon .Baptist churches. He will come to this field early in May.
