Continuous exposure to sunlight weakens curtain fabrics. Such fabrics become weakened in the lower areas faster than in the top where they are protected by shades. To counteract the effect of the sun's rays, use tailored curtains with equal size hems, top and bottom, so the ends may be reversed after laundering.
