Mrs. Susie Pullen now qualifies on a par with the powerful Katrinka. She killed ^ them both— the skunk and the rooster—with one clean shot.
It seems that something was disturbing her chickens on a dark, rainy night. Armed with a flashlight and her trusty gun, she approached the chicken house. She found Mr. Skunk and Mr. Rooster in a terrific battle. Mrs. Pullen put down the light and picked up her gun. She fired. One shot killed both skunk and rooster.
Mrs. Pullen has not been heard to state as to who actually won. However, it is safe to say that Mrs. Pullen is a braVe woman and walking proof that the ‘‘weaker^ seS* is not lacking in cour. »e.
