Officers of the Regional P.-T. A weie elected as follows. Mr-. Lui'.v ( hild- of Rappahannock, piesident; Mrs. Georgia Frye of Ma lison, \ ice-president; Mrs. Ora Barbour of Rappahannock, recording secretary; Mrs. Carleton J.ewis of C lpeper, corresponding -eeietary; and Ifan Washington of Madison, treasurer.
A committee was appointed by the president to draw up a constitution which will be presented at the next meeting on F’ehruary 12 for approval by the group. Those appointed were Mrs. Marion Anglin, chairman; Mrs. A. C. Washington, David Richardson, Mrs. Lila Dennis, and Miss Florence Williams.
The Rappahannock P.- T. A. served delicious plate dinners for the benefit of the county-wide P.T.A. of Rappahannock. The meeting and dinner served as a most pleasant event at which many parents and patrons had an opportunity to meet the new and old members of Carver’s staff.
Parents and patrons are welcomed and urged to attend and become affiliated with the Regional P.-T.A. The next meeting will be held at Carver High School, on February 12 at 2 p.m.
