Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Gay of Portsmouth spent the week end with Mrs. Gay's father, Mr. J. E. Orange.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Eight and son Richard were dinner guests on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman. Mrs. Edgar Sawyer, who spent four days in the Chapman home, returned with her son-in-law and daughter to their home in Catonsville, Md. 1
James M. Settle was in Washington, D. C., last evening to attend the Ice-Capades.
Miss Mary Elizabeth Johnson spent the week end in the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Colder of Huntly spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brown in Front Royal.
Beulah Marie McCloud of Slate Mills is staying with her grand-, father, Gilbert Fincham, and has enrolled as a pupil in the Woodville school.
There will be a March of Dimes dance in Front Royal on Friday evening at the Union hall.
Mrs. Carroll Revercomb spent last week with Miss Lizzie Miller, while Miss Jenny Miller visited Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Petty at iNewport News.
Mr. and Mrs. Lucio Kilby and their daughter and son Tisn and Tim are spending this week in Roanoke, where Mr. Kilby is attending a horticultural meeting.
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Yowell attended the inauguration of Governor John S. Battle in Ridhmond last week, and they also visited Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Pagett Jr., and Mayo Yowell at the University of Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Hal Oxenham were Sunday dinner guests of Capt. and Mrs. David I. Hedrick of Huntly.
Mrs. E. R. Browning of Flint Hill, is spending a Konth at the home of her son, Robert Browning and family at Verona, N. J.
