The meeting then _ adjourned to meet at the home' of Mrs. Pearl Mills next month, on the subject of tying springs.
The Flint Hill Home Demonstration club met at the home of • • Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., January 17. As the demonstration was on stenciling, trays, and one that takes more time than usual, the women began right away to stencil their travs. Seven lovely trays were completed at the meeting. A small business meeting was held after the women finished their trays. The agent announced a leader training meeting on "What to Know in Buying Fab* ries for the Living Room,” and "Window Treatment for the Living Room” to be held some time in February. It was decided to have “Rig Making” for next month’s demonstration. A social hour of games was then enjoyed by all. The hostess served very tasty refreshments. ’
Miss Lizzie Miller entertained the Slate Mills Demonstration club January 18. A short business meeting was carried by the agent. Year books were given out and "explained. Mrs. Carter IN bite, Mrs. Stoneyrall Kilby and Mrs, L. R. Hudson were appointed by the club to be house furnishings leaders. These women will ata meeting in Washington sometime in February. Some timely information was given by the agent. Then the women stenciled trays the rest of the afternoon. Lastly the hostess served very delicious cake and custard to the group.
