She is now old in years, hut still young in spirit and is loved by people all over the county. Her dear daughter cares for her now, trying in a measure to repay her mother for the love and gentle care given to her in her growing years. ,
Now we will, tell" you who this wonderful pei^on is, fir<t of all she’s one of my most loved friends, has 'been my ideal of womanhood for over fifty years. We call her Miss Sissie, but her name is Mary Kendall Browa. She’s the best loved person in Sperryville.
She’s cared for the sick, both rich and poor, the colored too have felt Her gentle touch, for she's ministered to them in their sorrow and woe. Her mission in life has been to serve from door to door.
My life is pinch iicher and fuller for having had her as my friend, and I feel sure 1 speak for folks in the whole®county.
Many more, things could be said, nice things, and sweet, but I want this printed so everyone may read and try to emulate her life in theirs.
