Letter To Editor
(B«low is printed a copy of a letter and report furnished the Rappahannock News by Mr. Paul Houn shell, Di-ision Superintendent of Schools, Culpeper.—Ed.) Mr. Dowell H. Howard Superintendent of Public Instruction
State Department of Education, Richmond 16, Virginia. Dear Mr. Howard:
In compliance with your request, I have given serious attention to the situation at the George Washington Carver High School
On July 12th, I visited this Bchool and had a conference with the Superintendent and the Principal. In addition, I discussed the school situation with several reputable citizens of both Orange and Culpeper Counties. My conclusion is that these accusations are false. The person or persons sending the communication to the Governor used a fictitious name.
I am attaching this written report so that you may have this information for your record.
Sincerely yours,
A. G. Richardson,
Assistant Supervisor of
Elementary aqd Secondary
Education. ‘ ■** It M
