“And a Wonderful Time was Had by All,” is an expression that I believe would sum up last week’s 4-H camping trip. Forty club mem_bers, two _ leaders and the Home Agent and Assistant Farm Agent attended the 4-H camp held at Powell’s Fort Valley organization camp, August 14th through 19th. A most interesting program was planned throughout the week for the campers. Two other counties attended this camp along with Rappahannock county, they were: Prince William and Loudoun counties. Prince William brought 36 4-H members with them and Loudoun brought 66, making a total of 142 campers. A list of the 4H’ers that attended from Rappahannock are as follows: Paula Miller, Tiney Goode, Evelyn Tyler Miller, Mary N. Davis, Lillie Woodard, Mildred Sisk, Jane Riley, Jean Brown, Mary H. Bruce, Dorothy Cloud, Doris Fincham, Jean Hawkins, Elsie Mae Jenkins, Betty Johnson, Betty Lou Rutherford, Bernice Nethers, Margie Dodson, Sarah Flythe, Tiney Gentry, Rosa Belle Williams, Louise Williams, Shirley Williams, Dolores Thompson, Alice Lee Harrison, Bessie Mae Fox, Mrs- Barbara Gentry, Gladys Reid, Carlyle Lea, Buddy Tapp, Richard Racer, Bobby Corder, Richard Griffith, Francis Bruce, Donald Gore, Larry Wayland, Dick Walker, Thomas Wayland, Jimmie Wayland, Hill Walker, John Turner, Jacob Sisk, Peter Estes.
