The Ketocton Association of the Regular Baptists convened with Thornton Gap church August 1819-20, this being the 184th anniversary. There was a recordbreaking attendance of ministers, messengers, and friends from Indiana, Illinois, .West Virginia, and sister church in Virginia. Among the ministers present were Elder* E. Wayne Thompson and Elder John Adkerson, pastors at Luray and New Market. The membership ait Luray has more than doubled since February 1. Pastor of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist church is Elder R. H. Thompson.
