Beekeepers To Meet

At Charlottesville

The third annual beekeepers’ - sort course, will be held at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, September 7 and 8.

The announcement was made by John Amos, associate plant pathologist-entomologist at VPI, who explains4 that the Virginia Agricultural Extension Service at VPI is arranging and planning the program. The Albemarle Beekeepers’ Association will be host for the group.

Speakers scheduled to appear include George A. Abram, of the University of Maryland; Henry Weatherford, Vernon Hill, state , apiary inspector; and Dr. J. M. Grayson, Dr. - J. O. Rowell, and Amos, ail of the VPI staff.

Other speakers will be announced later. Anyone interested in attending should contact Amos at VPI. Dorm space will be available at pet night. Registration
