Rev. Childs of Washington was guest speaker Sunday at the First Baptist church at the 11 o’clock services. After the services, baptising services were held.
Those who were baptised Sunday evening were Josephine Bridget, Ann Freeman, Robert Bailey, McKinley Dennis, and Charles Hunter.
Rev. T. L. Proctor, pastor of Macedonia Baptist church, Flint Hill, accompanied by his choir, rendered services at The Popular Folks church, near Warrenton, on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.
Home-coming Day was held on Sunday at Smedley church. Rev. O. D. Jackson of Washington held services Sunday morning and in the afternoon Rev. Childs had the service. Lunch was served on the church grounds by the members.
