Everett Leonard Pankey
The wedding of Mias Mary Alpha Rudasill, daughter of Mrs. 'Robert Luther Rudasill, of Woodville, and the late Mr. Rudasill, and Frank Lawson Pankey, son of Everett Leonard Pankey, of Pamplin, and the late Mrs. Pankey, was solemnized Saturday afternoon, August 19, in the Woodville Baptist church, Woodville. The Reverend Felton Carter, pastor of the church, officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Albert M. Johnson, of New York City and Loudoun county, wore a gown of white imported organdy over satin, fashioned with long pointed sleeves and a scalloped yoke of Chantilly lace, a fitted bodice, and a full skirt formed of three tiers of ruffles joined by Chantilly lace insertion and ending in a long circular train. Her floor-length veil of illusion fell from a bonnet of white rose petals, and she carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and stephan etis centered with a white" orchid.
