Resigns Bromfield Parish i Dr. W.G. Pendleton has given his resignation to the Vestry of Bromfield Parish, effective October 1, to iove to "WSrrenion where, he will each in Stuyvesant School for Boys. Warrenton is a former parish of >r. Pendleton and is the home of 11 rs. Pendleton. Dr. Pendleton has been rector of tromfield Parish, with the three Churches of Trinity at Washington, Emmanuel at Sperryville and Piednont at Madison, since November 1947. Born in Wytheville, Dr. Pendleton vas educated at Washington & Lee University, taking, two years academic tnd then the law course. He gradulted from Virginia Theological lSeminary in 1907 with the degree of bachelor of divinity and Washington & Lee conferred upon him the [honorary degree of doctor of divinity. Dr. Pendleton has had parishes in [Northampton county, Warrenton, Lynchburg and Tappahannock, and in Covington, Kentucky. For eight lycars he was headmaster of Virginia [Episcopal School .for Boys, and also [was Chaplin of- St. Margarets School
